Support and Frequently Asked Questions Last updated October 17, 2016 If you're having problems playing Painting Polys, first consult the list of frequently asked questions below to see if they can address your issue. If not, check the bottom of the page for a support email address. Please keep in mind that support is just one person (me), so it might take me a little while to get back to you. Why won't the app let me paint the canvas? By default, each painting session starts in Pan/Zoom Mode (represented by a four-headed arrow icon) with no color. To paint the canvas, you must change the active mode to either Cover Mode or Blend Mode, then choose a color to paint with. Check out the in-game tutorial for more detailed instructions on how to do this. How do I turn on/off the overlay? Press the button at the bottom of the screen with a projector on it to bring up the overlay opacity slider. Then, you can slide all the way left to turn the overlay off, or slide to the right to turn the overlay back on. Is there a point in getting all of the stars? Actually, there is! Earning every star in a puzzle set will unlock a bonus theme, which includes a new background and music track. After unlocking it, you can use this theme by setting it as your current theme in the Options menu (it will also begin showing up if you have your theme set to Random). Why didn't I get any stars when I finished a puzzle? Upon finishing any puzzle, you should receive at least the first star (indicated by a mark next to that star and a ding sound effect). If this does not happen, then the app likely triggered the anti-cheating mechanism. Please send an email to support @ rcsgames.com with the puzzle you played and the sequence of strokes you used as best as you can remember so that I can look into why that happened.
